Using Water to create a bit of a different effect

I decided to do something a little different with my scraplet, it gives your scraplet a little bit of a different look

 

Grab your scraplet word

 

Fill a container or tray with water and place your scraplet into the water. leave in the water untill it is soft.

 
 

Take your scraplet out of the water and then peel back the layers of chipboard. It gives your chipboard a rustic shabby look.

 

Here is a close up of my scraplet done with this technique. Once it dried out I inked the scraplet.

 

This is my layout that i used this technique on the scraplet. this is a little different, but hope you like the effect and use it yourself.
